Bolton Abbey

Starting At 12:00 onwards in the middle car park. You can find it on MultiMap here It's £4.00 entrance (Bolton Abbey's standard parking fee). There is no group parking, yet. We just turn up and have a good nosy.

All types of cars are welcome. There's a logo you can put in your car window to let people know who you are.

Hi,

If you are planning on attending. Can you add you car to the Calendar. This give other people an idea what will be there .

There are also some very good roads in the area . You can go for a razz and come back into the car park as many times as you want. It's £4 for the whole day.

Cheers
Chris

Theres currently 16 Cars going.

We need some Lotus, Aston, Porche, Marcos, Ultima and Noble. A Morgan or two would be nice as well.

The collection of cars so far is looking cool .

We have picked up a nice collection of Ferraris and a few lotus's. Maybe, even a lambo. There's a nice pack of TVR's as well. So should make for quite a spectacle.

I'll post more news as i get it.

Cheers

Chris, the map doesn't give much detail of the car park - just so that those who don't know the area know which one to go to...

drive into Bolton Abbey from the main Harrogate/Skipton Road. You will pass the Devonshire Arms on your right. A little further on you will pass a little village shop on your right and a carpark on your left. This is not it! 100 yards later you will go through a stone archway over the road. 300 yards or so later you will see the entrance to the riverside carpark which drops down to your right.

As there are acres and acres of space, I suggest we drive a little way past whatever cars are already there to give us room to all park together.

I presume this is the one Chris?

a.

I am going there this weekend to take photos. I will be putting a web site up after sunday. This should then give everyone a detailed idea of how to get there.
I will post the URL when ready as i dont have a domain name yet.

Your right about the car park, it is massive so we should have no problem parking.

The number/type of cars is looking very interesting.

Still waiting to here back from Porsche, Morgan owners/clubs at the moment.

This is an open event for all sports cars/car fans.
If the weather holds out it will be a nice sunday

Thanks, (Janet took them!)

Bolton abbey has offered reserve parking but they need to know how many cars will be there.

Legal stuff and the reserve parking needs to be added to the main site. This will be done to the website tonight.

Cheers
Chris.
