DBS Wheels on DB9
Discussion
Thanks for that, But does any one know if they do actually fit... Can i use a dbs rim that takes a 295 and put a 275 tyre on it for the rear of the db9... or will a 295 go straight on.

FYI
I always use these two calculators to check wheel and tyre fitment.
You do need the OEM details to make it work.

Sharky, do you have a picture of your car with the 20" wheels on it?
Under hard load I can feel a lot of slip at the rear, I'd like some more rubber on the road and the 295 section tyre would do it.
I am wondering if the DBS 19" wheel would work better for a DB9? I wouldn't get such a harsh ride or additional weight by going up to a 20" wheel but I would get the 295mm of rubber. Would it still be subject to the same possible fouling issue?

The short answer is yes they will.
However, they border on what is acceptable as far as legality and the risk to damage (gravel rash) to the rest of your panels.
I have set on my 9 but never gets used in the wet/winter/ etc
It does set the car off and gives that super car look. Having got used to it now it makes the 19 inch rims look like something off of a Morris marina
Drop me a line and I'll send you some pics so you can see for yourself.

You are still trying to "get rid" of them and I'm still so much tempted...
Head says I should move them on, its a lot of money to have tied up in wheels that are just sitting there. But my heart says keep them, took me bloody ages to find a set for sale and one day I will get another Aston that I'd love to put them on. And they're not going to go down in value so nothing to lose by keeping them. That's how I justified buying them in the first place, paid £2500 for them, fit them to the car, when I sell the car sell them for £2500 - so therefore free awesome looking wheels for my Aston and help to keep the originals in good condition for when I sell (or perhaps put winter tyres on them?) Anyway were only on the car for about 50 miles before I ended up getting tempted to buy the V12V

Just out of curiosity, Is that the 10 spoke "lightweight" wheels or the 20 spoke?Anyway were only on the car for about 50 miles before I ended up getting tempted to buy the V12V
