I bought my Clio about two months ago, and now the horn is not working.I wanted to see if this happens a great deal, and if anyone knew what could potential be wrong with it/how to fix it?

Start by checking fuses, assuming it has one assigned to it. Actually just check all the fuses because in my experience the thing that is broken never corresponds to the fuse that has blown!

Horn is behind the wheel arch liner on the passenger side, should be fairly easy to check the connection if the fuses seem fine.

If the horn is anything like the earlier mk1 clios then the earth connection will be corroded. A simple wire brush of the frame and earth bolt is all that is required.

If it's a mk1 Clio, it'll more than likely be the horn unit itself, or a poor earth connection as mentioned already.

If it's a mk2, I would bet it being the rotary switch.

As others have said, check the fuse/s and if you can, get a multimeter down to the horn switch and check for a feed. If fuses is ok and feed isn't there - as said, rotary switch (behind steering wheel/cowling.
