If its any help, the colour used by Land Rover on the 'Camel Trophy' expedition vehicles is coded as 'Land Rover 361 Sandglow/Camel Yellow'
A look on the net will produce lots of pics & videos of Land Rovers in that colour.

No it is not the Landrover camel throphy color. That is not a deep yellow.
I think the color came from Valantino Rossi's Camel Moto GP bike.

Just entered 'Camel Yellow' into Spies Hecker & the following come up:
Daewoo 55L Camel Yellow
Lotus B05 Norfolk Mustard
Lotus A64 Norfolk Mustard
Mazda TA Camel Yellow
And the LR one I've already posted.
But if you don't know the make of the vehicle you've seen it on or is a 'special' colour then you've got a problem. Find out what its used on & then ask them for its colour code & colour name.

Only thing I've got in Ford (your pic of the toy) anything like a dark yellow is QL Saffron Yellow but a pic of a real GT40 in yellow looks lighter.http://www.racingicons.com/gt/1027.htm

This is what I found on the internet

‘A’ prefix paint codes are used for cars finished in ICI 2K two pack acrylic polyurethane paint introduced around 1977.

‘B’ codes indicate DuPont basecoat/clear acrylic enamel paint introduced during 1991, with water based paints being phased in during 1997.

I assume that I will need the Lotus A64 Norfolk Mustard

The Camel Yellow we used at TVR was a Peugeot colour, code AN. The ICI/NEXA code for this is 3MN9.
