In my service logbook there is no evidence to show this has been performed on my car.
Does anybody know when it is due?
At what mileage or age?

Officially it is 100,000 miles or 10 years.

Check its condition for signs of cracking and wear. Allot of short journeys are worse for it than motorway miles.

also, the water pumps can give up before the timing belt as well, and that causes major headaches when it lets go!

the focus 1.6 tdci (pretty much the same engine) is recommended at 150k
