Just had the 4 yr major service + spark plug change on the CS at PSR in Bishops Stortford (Porsche and Lotus Indy).

Paul(owner) and Dan(mechanic) were absolutely faultless. They did not rush things, were always ready and eager to answer queries from a novice, didnt mind me watching the process and took very good care of the car. Moreover, their prices were very reasonable.

PSR is very well known in the Lotus sector, and I have seen quite a few Porches around the garage.

I would highly recommend PSR automotive if anyone is looking for a good and trustworthy indy in West Essex/East Herts area.

ps: no affliation to the garage. Just to give credit where credit is due. Plan to drop in a couple of bottles of wine to show my appreciation.

That's good to hear.

My car is being serviced there at the moment.

I hope I'm as pleased as you are with the results.

If yours was the Grey Cayenne there; I saw them working on it when I arrived. Paul seemed to be impressed by it.
If you had the time, I would've recommended you to watch the process, they are very willing to show you around the nuts&bolts.

I was mucho impressed with their thoroughness.

Yep, that's the one.

It would have been nice to spend a bit of time there,
see what goes on. Unfortunately work gets in the way.

Is this the first time you've used them?

Yep, first time for any work.

However, I had been introduced to them by a work colleague a few years ago, and have occasionally dropped in to get some general advice about the car/issues - Paul has been very kind to give them for free.

They certainly come across as a good outfit.

I'm hoping they'll become my garage of choice.

Hey DOC,

I think I saw you there? I was having my black 996 inspected by PSR for the prospective new owner, which I'm pleased to say they gave a good report on!

They seemed to know their stuff.

It might be a good idea for you to add them to the Wiki list at the top of the forum.

Can also recommend PSR. They have serviced my 996TT, upgraded the front brakes and carried out numerous other smaller jobs. Paul’s eagerness to help and attitude towards maintaining my car is one of passion, without the primary aim to swell the coffers to the extent of larger centres.

Just wanted to add to PSR praise. Had my Elise S2 with them yesterday. Cooling fan replacement. Service was excellent. Paul was friendly and helpful. Garage was very tidy and clearly very busy! In and out in a day. Very reasonable price for the work.

Just to add to this thread, I have taken both my cars to PSR over the last couple of weeks and the service offered has been exemplary. Paul found my 911 starting problem within 30 minutes and it was rectified within the hour. My OPC couldn't find the fault after several attempts! frown

Paul worked till 9.30pm on one day, 6.30pm on another to make sure my car was ready to drive home, how many OPC's would do that? All work was completed to a high standard and nothing was too much trouble.

PSR come highly recommended from me, I won't be going anywhere else for my servicing.
