hi guys
can anyone recommend me some music related films based on rock/metal
please?
have just see "the runaways" and loved it
wanted to see it because of "prey for rock and roll"
and also loved "spinal tap","rockstar","walk the line","walk hard".
anything similar anyone can suggest?

Don't know if these even vaguely count, but a couple of 'feelgood' high-school type films, with excellent rock soundtracks:

'Dazed & Confused' and 'Detroit Rock City'

the woodstock documentary is well worth watching. it's half live performances, half wondering through the crowds meeting various characters and organising staff etc.

gimme shelter - rolling stones rockumanetary, including the altamont gig.

don't look back - only if you're a dylan fan though

ziggy stardust - more of a concert really, though amusing for the scenes of bowie doing quick changes into various stupid costumes, skintight pink&green striped suits and 12" platforms.

Thanks for the reminder - have this at home, must watch it again soon. Some great performances and clips in there.
