Is the time honoured PH "Custard test" redundant?

For several years now, PH'ers who claimed to own certain exotica have been challenged by sceptical doubters to post a photograph of their pride and joy with a tin of custard on the roof or bonnet, to prove they weren't telling porkies,.........Some were exposed as internet fantasists.... no names no pack drill....

But,.... with the advent of photoshop, anyone can now "claim" to own a Veyron, Ferrari or similar so,

So, is the custard test now consigned to the dustbin of history?

Surely it would have to be a seriously good photoshopper to put a tin of custard inside a car window...

Photoshop has been around since late 80's, early 90's. It isn't the latest fad.

Yep - It's been requested about 7 billion times and is no longer funny, and in several years I think I've only witnessed one person rise to the challenge.

i think i have only ever seen 1 sucessful custard test which was of a girl proving she was infact a girl.

One thread i've seen is of a 22-23 yr old who said he had just bought a gallardo, cue the bks and BS post, short time later custard pic on dashboard of lambo.
Gulzar did a good version posted a pic of his Rolls Royce keys in front of computer screen with the thread in the background.
