On the way back from a nice drive on B roads the gearstick of my Griff 500 suddenly lost any grip to the gearbox, so had to finish the way back in 2nd... luckily not too far from home.
Now it is clear the remote linkage mechanism to the gearbox has "gone loose".
Has anybody of you a picture or maybe some schematics of the remote linkage mecanism ? The Bible does not help unfortunately.
Any recommendation in terms of access ? From the top or below ?
I was hoping to see some useful pics from previous "body-off" reports, but the site recording these experiences (theG..pages) is actually down - unfortunately.
Thanks in advance,

These are the only pics. I could find, not sure which gearbox this is but the principle will be the same. For access remove T-bone to reveal a fibreglass cover which can be removed. Hope this helps

Thanks for the pics. Is this a LT77 or T5 gearbox ?
The LT77 were built from early griffs till 1994/95.
