Are any of the T400/440r race cars still racing? are they changing hands or still kept by the likes of LNT and other teams?
They're being sat on at the moment although I think one is being reconditioned/prepped for hopefully a bit of action. My guess is that they will reappear when they become eligible for some of the historic classes?

look at this :-)
That's Bill Jongbloed's car. He had done some chassis reinforcement drawings, for M-series cars, even before the age of the internet. Those were available theough mail order. Remember mail order? He's built quite a reputation for his excellent custom wheels.Best,

silly question, is this recent? are all these shells and jigs etc still siting there and are they due to be sold??
Nah, sorry pal. They were taken ages ago. Must have been around July/August 2007 from memory. Me and my dad popped in to have a look as we were passing. It was the period after it had all been closed down, but before, Surface and Design, D&C, etc etc had done a deal to move back in.So literally, it was very spooky - just like a ghost town.
Even my dad who's not into TVR's said that it made him feel sad to see it all empty and derelict
That's Surface and Design. They are still there. Ex-TVR factory guys who set-up on their own after TVR's collapse, and managed to do a deal enabling them to move back into part of the old factory. There's quite a few other independent businesses in there now (mostly ex-Factory guys, specialising in their own fields...).
nice model indeed, also very fast in some cases.
strange? story about those Griffith 600, I've read that Jack Griffith got in some financial problems and so could not make more of those then a view...
Intermeccanica made the bodies I believe and took over the car? and called it the
Intermeccanica Omega (at first) and Holman and Moody made them also, I guess those are also the guys who build some GT40?
anyways, the car later also called Intermeccanica Torrino or Italia
so I guess those ( a few hundred) can also a little bit been seen as "Griffith 600" ?
ah, found a list>>
14 1966 Griffith 600 powered by Chrysler 273,
33 1967 Omega powered by Holman & Moody 289 Ford,
752 1968-1972 Torino-Italia powered by Ford 289HP, 302, 351W, 351C,http://www.intermeccanica.org/publications/manual/Manual.htm

A Griff, as seen through/from one of Bill Thomas' original Cheetahs.
