Any Lister Storm owners out there?
Discussion
I'm trying for find an owner of a Lister Storm who is willing to do me a huge favour. It's my good lady's 40th this year (oops I mean 21st!!)and it is her dream to own a Lister Storm. Unfortunately I can't afford one so I'm looking to do the next best thing and get her a ride in one. Obviously I am not expecting this for free and am willing to negotiate a price for said experience. I thought this would be the best place to ask as you guys seem to have some very expensive toys. Anyone own one or know someone who does?? I would be eternally grateful and it would carry so many Brownie points I'd have to buy a new piggy bank to store them in. Here's hoping..thanks, Ian.

hi, sadly i don't think anyone owns one on here as they are very (and i mean very) rare but someone may well know someone who doesHi,
Sorry I don't have one but know where you are coming from. Always said that if the six numbers come up that is the car
I would treat myself to. Supercar performance at a fraction of a supercar price.
I may be wrong but I think I read somewhere that only four road going versions were built. The rest were for track use.
Hope I am wrong and PH comes up trumps for you.
Andy..

"Confirmed For Sale 22 days ago...From 2004 the car has only seen use on the owners private race track."
Good luck!
edit: somewhat lacking in passenger comfort.

Yes that's right, only 4 road versions ever made and 1 was made into a race car. We used to be friendly with the Lister racing team when Mike Jordan and Dave Warnock drove the cars. I contacted them a few years ago asking the same question and even they didn't know who had the road cars - and Lawrence is Lister cars. Think I have set myself the impossible task. She'll just have be be happy with a pair of Dodos like last year!Sorry I don't have one but know where you are coming from. Always said that if the six numbers come up that is the car

I'm sure they were well aware of who had the one that sold at Coys up to 2007, L18TER, as the owner (I have heard) had a lot to do with the Lister race team. I used to hear it regularly on a Sunday afternoon although I think I only ever saw it out two or 3 times in the 12 years I lived opposite it.Edited by Adam205 on Tuesday 11th January 20:05

That's been for sale for years. If I ever had the money I'd love one."Confirmed For Sale 22 days ago...From 2004 the car has only seen use on the owners private race track."

Used to be one years ago parked outside Freds chinese in Retford Notts, think it was the L15TER one but I have had many beers since !
Used to weird seeing it. just, well parked outside the local chinese. It was a bona fide supercar.
Although did laugh my tits off when Tiff 'driving god' Needles spun at the old hairpin on about lap one of Donnington at an endurance race I went too
Happy days

Big fan of lister ever since my dad took me out in a 6.0 lister converted XJS around 15 or so years ago. 400ish bhp and a manual gearbox really seamed to transform the XJS
Went very every well so god know what the 7 litre supercharged one's went like,
I think the one I went out in is just sat in a garage now as the owner very unfortunately passed away a few years ago.
