Car has been in the garage having bits and bobs done, actually 62 hours worth!!!! We have:

fitted new battery, pully wheel and belt

replaced hoses (has anyone else been left with spares?? scratchchin)

fitted new radaiator (pro-alloy)

sealed floor

fitted HID head lights (a must, what a difference yes )

reversing switch and most of the rear bulbs!

tunnel cooling mod

re-earth all wires

adaption to drivers seat to inable me to remove the foam (height, and no it didn't make much difference frown )

waxoil

replaced leaking clutch master cylinder

adaption to fuel pump mounting (no more angry bee)

replace fuel lines with new larger and filter

Just the service and turbos to fit (thanks to Andy thumbup ) then off to be remapped.

Looking for a reliable, drivable 450bhp ish driving

Big thanks to all for their help in answering my/my blokes questions clap

Hope to see you guys for the evening meet if the car is ready biggrin

Cheers

Paul

Any chance you could put a photo of the HID installation, I did mine but the leads were fairly short and the transformer box bit was bolted to the rear of the headlight and leaked and then failed after a few months. I have gone back to "normal" headlights but would love the HID's again

Will get the car booked in for it's service in the next week or so. Looks like, once the turbos are fitted I'll have to trailer it to T&R for remap which is a pain. So hoping by next month or so, car will be done.
The guys were able to fit the balist ( starter) inside the light cover, will see how this goes. It is a tight fit but my car is the 3R so it has quite a bit of room. Did think of fitting this near the radiator as others have, but I was worried about it getting wet while washing the car etc.
As I've said, the difference is amazing. I have found the main beam very good, but as other cars come towards and being so low, it's easy to loose sight of the sides of the road. These take care of that problem. Will try to find the link

I'm sure this is the unit that I brought. The company is very helpful, wasn't sure if mine was projector or not, they got up some images of the Noble and were able to identify them as projectors. I went with the advice from Rob (Blu3R Cheers) and chose the 5000k which does give a suttle blueness to the light:

Could be two answers, its ither the fact of fitting better fuel lines, so the pump can work easier, or its the fact we have mounted the pump and filter onto a plate and fixed them in-place by some clamps. I think its the latter and its quite easy to do.

Just keep an eye on them as I understand they do generate a fair amount of heat. I'm currently fitting mine in the area where the fans live but I think if I were doing it again, I'd locate the ballasts in the area directly inside where the nose badge is and bolt through where the front number plate bolts on.

Skip actually put mine in the light housing so it is sealed in with the lights.

Took the car out yesterday evening for about 1.5 hrs, lights were fine, checked the housing when I got home, all was ok. Sorry I don't have any pics of the instal as the unit is behind the housing.
