Hmm, maybe I'm getting old, but I'm seriously considering one of these puppies when I get back to the UK next year.

IMHO its better looking than any of the recent Ferraris.

Can't afford a new 'un so hopefully a nice 2 year old one will surface sub-70K....
The other alternative is a late 6cyl DB7 and a 15K griff for the track....

One of the directors of my company has one in Black with Black leather.

Its nice but its not as as it looked in the concept press shots.

The Vanquish is a far nicer looking motor IMO.

A friend of mine picked me up from the garage once in his boss's DB7 convertible. I felt a bit of a prat when he then dropped me at the bus stop in front of a bunch of onlookers so I could get a bus the rest of the way home...

I had a V12 DB7 for a while to play in and found it a great disappointment. It was obviously fantastically built and I had upmost respect the craftsmanship and all but it just didn't excite me really.

It felt like a very old fashioned GT with a l o n g gearchange throw, no headroom, no electric goodies and all the same switches as my £2k Ford Scorpio. However, I somebody offered to swap my Griff for one then I would in a heartbeat (but only to sell it immediately to buy a Tuscan S, couple of spare engines and 4 weeks in St. Tropez).

Wafting around and crossing continents I was sure that it would be the business and maybe I'll change my mind as comfort overtakes thrills in my hierarchy of needs.

Today? Nah.

All IMO etc. etc.

Exactly my requirements - I found my TVRs were great for the continental driving holiday until the temp got above a certain point and the aircon gave up. There's a huge difference between arriving in Barcelona like a frazzled crisp versus arriving there cool and collected having completed a 4 hour spirited drive over the Pyrenees.
Of course if money were no object I'd probably have a Tamora as well for the sheer grin-factor and roof-off thrills.

Yep - I'm with you there. I did a 14 hour trip from Slovenia to Amsterdam and arrived as though I'd spent the day in an incredibly loud frying pan.

Oh well - doing it again this year!!

Had one this weekend to make up for my lack of Cerbie and happened to slide off with a group of Cerberas - V12 Vantage Convertible - lovely build quality, fantastically airtight with roof on but SO far down on the overall accelerative power of a cerbie it was embarrassing.....when I am older and cannot fold myself into a Cerbera i MAY consider one but for now it was a nice experience but that is all it will remain
