Elise Trophy Returns to Brands

Round three of the Elise Trophy to support A1GP at Brands Hatch

For round three of the 2008 Elise Trophy the series is returning to Brands Hatch to support A1GP on the GP circuit from 2-4 May.

A full grid of 44 cars (plus up to eight reserves who will qualify) will be the largest ever grid of Lotus cars.

The field will include up to five 2-Elevens, Lotus’ latest track-focused offering.

With other support races including Formula Palmer Audi, Britcar, Porsche Open, Heritage Grand Touring Cars, Formula Ford and Sports 2000 it should be a good weekend's racing on the historic GP circuit.

The front running Elise Trophy class C drivers, Chris Randall and Andrew Walsh, will be racing in class B cars for this round, which means up to 9 drivers could be competing for the outright win.

Once again in 2008 the Elise Trophy will be televised on Motors TV; the first showing of the Brands Hatch races in March is on Friday 9th May.
