Exterior in excellent condition. Interior needed some leather mosturizer in wear locations.
Car had always been garaged. Not enough driving caused front rotors to develop "spots" causing
excessive vibration when braking.
Replaced front rotors, red clutch hose, fuel vapor line, reconnected vacuum lines for heater and
replaced Left Front engine mount (usually melts in Turbo's).
Repaired engine bay fan controller timer.
Car is wonderful to drive. Put on 3k miles in the 2 months that I own it. Sharp handling,
excellent performance.
I prefer the classic Esprit lines over the newer > 1987 models, which is why I decided
for this model, rather than a newer version.

The power antena does not work, and the leather by the shifter was worn away. This is a Rest-of-World (RoW) car which had been brought into the U.S.; $28k was probably a little bit on the high side for 1990. The car wasn't driven much by the first owner. The only problems occurred in the first two years and were related to cooling: the remote thermostat has become separated from hoses twice; radiator had to be re-cored. Haven't had a problem with that since. The car has been fine otherwise. It's got a few very small rock chips on the paint and the headliner is starting to sag. Currently I'm preparing it for summer with a new timing belt and carburetter rebuild. It still has low mileage and I haven't a clue what it's worth today, though I think I'd like to replace it with an Esprit SE. Car bought by mr50bmg |

Changed Federal bumpers to Lotus factory made European bumpers. Stripped wolfrace rims, new wheel nuts and washers, new nose and wheel badges.
