I am the proud owner of a unique Porsche 964. It was ordered new by Nigel Jagger in Jersey and he paid £6000 extra to have it in 341 Royal Purple. The car was also ordered with black leather. He wanted it in this colour as he had a 911S in 1971 in the same colour. The car was sold in 1994 was sold to Dominic Jones (one of the owners of The Jersey Pottery) and in March 1995 it was involved in a very high profile accident - fortunately it only had minor damage as it was the fifth car involved and was only bumped in the rear quarter panel. The accident happened on the Cromwell Road in London when a man visited a casino. He pulled up in his Tiptronic 993 and the valet parking attendant didn't realise it was an auto. He floored the car and punted a Fiat Uno parked in front out onto the main road and into the path of Princess Diana who was driving alone in a BMW 3 series. A Mercedes was then involved and finally Dominic was hit. The rear quarter panel is a shade out from the rest of the car. Thanks to the car being on Jersey and then the previous owner to me covering a matter of 100's of miles between MOTs - the car has only done 58.000 miles. Although no a factory RS, iIt has big red brakes, RS suspension, 17 inch alloys, RS exhaust system, RS steering wheel, RS carpets and various other RS parts. A real factory one-off.
