a very special experience. feels unique - light front end, and you feel the width at the rear - on a dry road accelerating off a bend is exhilirating - in the wet, your heart is in your mouth - it feels as if its on tiptoes - can let go suddenly - demands proper concentration.
Gearbox is slow - this one had the later G50 that everyone raves about - I actually preffered the earlier 915 (pre about 87) for its lighter feel.

Some days you drive it well, the next like a lemon... a true great, and a real bargain at the moment (feb 08) - any of the 1980's 3.2 carerras (if well set up) are a must experience for lovers of driving.
plus 30 mpg on the motorway at 80!
