Current Car
Stu James's  BMW  M3 EVO SALOON  Saloon  (1996)
Last updated: Saturday 7th November

Bought for £6,250 in September 2006 at 105,000 miles.

Great value understated E36(N)reg. Bought the car at a good price as previous owner thought the head gasket was leaking turned out to be a £8.00 rubber seal.. hey ho...
Have spent ££££'s on the car so far in my two years of ownership.Have done all of the suspension full "Koni Sport" coilover kit (front fully adjustable),Full Supersprint Exhaust,Gruppe "M" induction kit, FULL Brembo 4 pot kit(F&R)GT332 front, GT328 rear, braided hoses all round including clutch cable, all bushes replaced BMW "oem",X-Brace & OMP Front Strut Bar,re-mapped by Emaps (Simon from Birmingham) Ice upgrade "sensible" stuff with a 12" rear sub, refurbed 1995 genuine BMW "motorsport" alloys, DEFI Din Gauge (oil temp, oil pressure, water temp) in spare din slot. Have spent more than complete stock car that I originally paid for. Mileage was 105k in September 2008 is now 145000 (August 2008) (daily driver), heavily serviced some BMW, Munich Legends & local trader. 100% reliable, does not use a drop of oil or water and is a total joy to own... Car is worth nothing in current market as at August 2008 and I simply cannot justify the large spend (£25-30k)to get a car that handles, sounds, stops and goes like my old trusted E36 M3 Evolution Saloon.... If you were to buy one please only buy on condition and "HISTORY" a BMW history from new stamped and verified should ensure a good example... Great car, fantastic performance with incredible "reliability" BMW did make em good in the early to mid 90's..
