The E46 323 is alot heavier than my previous E36 but feels like a really well put together machine.

I have the cream leather trim, walnut dash and chromed bits on the outside, so it looks like a Grandads car but I actually like that. It has relaxed my driving style and means I cruise from A to B till I decide to use the magic button and the car surprises me with the acceleration and handling.

This car is not a light weight thrasher like the E36 but it is a beautiful and luxurious armchair with the capability to have some fun on occasion.

The only thing I really don't like is the 'Fly by Wire' accelerator, which is heavy, detached and plays up every now and then - I don't see the point in it.
