The European Endurance and Racing Club (EERC) has announced that the final race of the day at the BRSCC’s Donington Park meeting on Saturday, 18th October, will be a 100-minute endurance race for the Britcar series .
Qualifying will be between 17.20 and 17.50, with the race taking place immediately afterwards. The first driver out in qualifying will set the time, the second driver will remain in the car at the end of the session, and form-up on the grid behind the pace car. No car may enter the pit lane between qualifying and the race unless instructed by the officials.
Series boss James Tucker says “This is a first for British motorsport, and will hopefully set the scene for winter racing in the future
”.
A provisional entry list will be advised in the near future.
