These are the first official photographs of the new Quattroporte, Maserati’s flagship model which will be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show on 9 September, 2003.
It'll be delivered with a 400bhp V8 to give it ample performance to go with the delicate Italian looks.
Maserati has a rich heritage of fast cars though and with the likes of BMW, Mercedes and Audi now producing 400bhp saloons in their thousands it's just possible that Maserati may need to raise their game to retain the prestige that the marque deserves.
