198mph Corvette Z06 on its way
GM has confirmed that the Corvette Z06, first seen in Europe at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in June, will be imported to Europe in December.
The new Z06 produces 500bhp and is expected to deliver 0-60 mph performance of less than four seconds, cover the quarter-mile in less than 12 seconds and reach a top speed of almost 200mph -- rare territory indeed.
According to Autocar, the coupé-only car is expected to cost around £15,000 more than the standard coupé's price tag of £45,850.
