If you think that a stretched Hummer is not the height of bling, then the Limousine and Chauffeur Show, which comes to the UK for the first time this weekend, is the place to be. It's billed as "featuring some of the world’s most luxurious and impressive stretched limousines and outrageous and exotic vehicles".
There'll be a chance to look round some of the tarted up vehicles -- some of which win awards -- including a 140-inch stretched Hummer H3.
Examples -- the car commissioned by Eminem, a Ford Excursion Diplomat, with an interior described as comparable to that of a private jet, will be making an appearance. Blinged to the eyeballs, the un-stretched Excursion has also attracted attention from other rap stars.
Also on show will be the ‘Joker’ Hummer H2, which was recently voted the ‘world’s best limousine’. Costing more than £150,000, it carries a huge sound system, a casino interior including full size games table, body paint worth £10,000 and over £12,000 worth of exterior chrome.
And a Maybach 62, over six metres long and costing around £250,000, will be on display, featuring first-class airline seats in the rear which recline into an (almost) full bed. It houses the world’s most powerful production engine, it says here.
If you're really stuck for something to do this weekend, head for the Limousine and Chauffeur Show, at Sandown Park, Surrey.
