A woman was let off a parking ticket in Brighton -- where wardens are notoriously fierce -- after her toddler, 21-month-old Rose, was sick on the way to the car.
She appealed to Brighton council and parking ticket boss let Laurie Ward off the £30 fine but told her: "Please make sure your daughter only vomits within pay and display time."
Laurie, from Brighton, was not amused. She said: "It was an attempt at humour. This is not the way I expect to be treated by a public body." According to the Mirror a spokesman said: "We apologise if any offence was taken."
