 Lotus Elise S: hire it from Dream Machines |
Ever wondered where you could hire a decent car? Dream Machines, a TVR and Lotus dealer based in Heathfield, E Sussex, is starting a high performance car hire service.
From Friday 6 October, you'll be able to hire any of the following cars (starting daily rates shown, all include full insurance):
- 2006 Lotus Elise S (brand new model) -- £165
- 2006 Lotus Europa (brand new model) -- £220
- 2006 Lotus Exige S (supercharged version) -- £220
- 2006 TVR Sagaris -- £395
- 2006 TVR Tuscan convertible -- £375 a day
DM will, for a small additional charge, deliver the car to your door and collect it afterwards. All cars are either new or no more than nine months old, all are the latest models and specifications.
Terms
The rental period runs from one to as many days as you like, although one-day hire is restricted to midweek only. Weekend rental is a minimum of three days and includes either Monday or Friday.
Fully comprehensive insurance is included in the price, with a £500 excess applicable. All cars come with full AA roadside assistance and recovery. DM said it intends to add more cars as demand dictates and will provide special quotations for extended hire periods.
All you need are a current driving licence and two proofs of address. You also need to be 23 or older for cars up to insurance group 17 and 25 or older for group 17 and above -- we suspect that all DM's cars are in insurance group 20.
