Do you know someone who's under 17 but desperate to get behind the wheel, or maybe someone who wants to learn to drive but isn't confident enough to cope with traffic, pedestrians and all the other things going on the public roads?
If so, driver training company Carlimits.com reckoned its got something that might help.
CarLimits is offering bespoke driver training in its new-shape, dual-controlled Vauxhall Corsa in the safety of an airfield venue at North Weald in Essex. There's a choice of either a half-day course (£45 for three hours at the venue) or a full day course (£90 for 0900-1600 with an hour for lunch). There's a maximum of three pupils per course.
Pupils are taught by a qualified instructor where they learn about the controls, how to move off and stop, practice their steering technique and have fun reversing, said CarLimits. If they're skilled enough to know these manoeuvres already, then they'll do other exercises from the DSA syllabus such as turning around, using forward and reverse gears, and emergency stops.
The course is completed with an exhilarating high speed passenger laps around our circuit in a high performance car and a certificate to show their achievement on the course.
