There's yet another fractional car hire company on the block.
However, Group 20 claims to have removed the restrictions on time and mileage that other, similar clubs impose. In return for a hefty £12,950 annual fee, in addition to the joining fee of £2,050 (both prices exclude VAT), Group 20's policy is that you keep the car as long as you want.
The company said that its fair play policy means that members get unrestricted access to the cars, providing that the access is fair and doesn’t impede on the provision of service to other members. The service has no cancellation charges, nor annual mileage limits, nor excess mileage charges.
Cars available include a line-up of the most desirable machines on the planet, including a Pagani Zonda C12, Aston Martins Vanquish, DB9 and V8 Vantage, plus Ferraris, Bentleys and Lamborghinis.
The company is also holding hospitality packages at prestigious events such as the Bahrain Grand Prix in Bahrain and Monaco, Le Mans, and the Goodwood Festival of Speed, plus other non-motoring sporting events.
According to the Web site, Group 20 is supported by VehicleOptions, as well as several of the UK’s largest financial institutions. The company reckoned this means the company can draw upon financial backing, market experience and a professional infrastructure.
The company calls itself the most elite super-car club in the world.
