The first online auction of Ferrari memorabilia, comprising original Ferrari F1 components, takes place on the Ferrari website this afternoon (10th May) from three o’clock.
A total of five items will go under the hammer:
- the front wing with side plates from the F2004 World Championship-winning car
- the rear wing side plate and the closed aerodynamic cooling left side panel from the World Championship-winning F2003-GA
- the gearbox gears from the F2001 World Championship car
- the rear BBS Wheel Ferrari from the F1-2000 World Champion, complete with original red metal Scuderia Ferrari flight case.
The authenticity of the components is guaranteed by a certificate of origin signed by Ferrari CEO Jean Todt. The auctions are open to all, with potential bidders needing to register with the site, then log in at the MyFerrariStore.com section and accept the terms and conditions of sale.
The Ferrari web shop offers a wide and varied selection of articles for sale ranging in price from a mouse pad for £6.40 to an F1 engine with a price tag of £32,378.
The auction finishes at five pm on Monday (21st May).
