Ferrari goes under the radar...
German tuning firm Hamann has released a new take on the Ferrari F430. Apart from the usual fettling of lowered suspension, additional body styling and a few extra prancing ponies, it’s presented with a matt finish to the black paintwork.
Although this makes the F430 look like a cross between a Maranello creation and an F-117A Stealthfighter, the contrasting highlights in luminous orange (as shown here), yellow or red do their best to re-attract the attention of passers by and police alike.
The matt effect is created by applying a special foil to the F430’s bodywork; if you tire of the ‘look’ you can simply remove the foil.
An extra 50PS for 'Black Miracle'
Otherwise, the ‘Black Miracle’ gets Hamann’s gullwing door conversion, a body styling kit, a suspension lowering kit and Hamann 20” lightweight wheels. A different exhaust manifold, new sports cats, new exhaust and an ecu re-map liberate an additional 50PS.
Question is - does the foil prevent ‘missile lock’ from Safety Camera vans…
