and parcel of making a modern movie, but some can be a little more subtle than others. Anyone remember the excruciatingly painful scenes in Casino Royale involving Ford’s products. The baddies all drove perfectly presented Jaguar XJs while Bond was in a Mondeo. A Mondeo?!
And remember this tiring piece of prose:
Tasty Bond girl: ‘Nice watch, Rolex?’

You get the point. However, not all placements have to be like this says Volkswagen. Wolfsburg has just sponsored the spectacular climactic car chase in this year’s summer blockbuster, The Bourne Ultimatum. At this point of the film, Jason Bourne played by Matt Damon, has already escaped death several times and now must evade an angry bloke with a machine gun in a Touareg 2.
