Great news, pistonheads. The lovely boys and girls
Giovanardi is only 14 points behind championship leader Plato
at Vauxhall are offering us 25 pairs of free British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) tickets for this Sunday's race meeting at Brands Hatch. Better park our long-term Leon Cupra round the back then….
This is probably one of the best spectator circuits on the calendar and tickets to attend the Kent racetrack usually set you back £25 during BTCC. The relatively short circuit is full of dips and off-camber surfaces which always produces some very controversial racing, too.
As always, we’re running the competition on a first come, first served basis so e-mail us ASAP to competitions@pistonheads.com with subject line 'Vauxhall BTCC Tickets'. All applications must be in by 5PM today, though in reality, all tickets will have probably been snapped up by midday.
All we ask is that you try not to mention
Vauxhall and Seat will battle it out for the top spot on Sunday
the words ‘Jason Plato’ and ‘championship leader’ in the same sentence. Having said that, Vauxhall’s number one driver Fabrizio Giovanardi, finished the last three races at Snetterton ahead of Seat’s number one man, so only 14 points now separates the two top drivers. With nine of the season’s 30 races still to go, it’s still all to play for.
