The much anticipated BMW X6 has been shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show, although details are still vague. It will be powered either by a normal petrol engine or by BMW's new HybridDrive. The unusual styling, with the roof curving down from the B-pillar, emphasises BMW's desire to tap into a new market with this car.
An official release says the car will handle more like a sports car than an SUV thanks to their new all-wheel drive system. This will keep the car in neutral balance when cornering by adjusting the power between the axles.
