A room full of distraction
Ferrari is celebrating what it calls “the fascinating and mysterious relationship between the world of Ferrari and the female universe.”
Essentially, the Galleria Ferrari di Maranello has delved into its photographic archive and picked out some of the best shots of famous ladies in their cars of the last 60 years.
Accompanying the big photo display are some of the cars which feature in them, including the 250 GT Spider of 1959, the 250 GT Berlinetta of 1962 and the 360 Spider of 2000.
There are a few Ferrari driver’s WAGs, including Piero Taruffi's wife, Isabella, at the last Mille Miglia in 1957, his daughter, Prisca, driving the same 315 S Taruffi won the event with, and the wife of John Surtees, Pat, during the Monaco grand prix in 1966.
There’s still a few days left of half term, the ’Ring is still open for a few laps on the way back, and the exhibition is fun for all the family: go on, what’s stopping you?
