Kleemann, a company long associated with styling bits for Mercedes cars, has entered the world of exclusive sportscar manufacturers.
After three years of development the company has revealed the new GTK concept car.
The eagle-eyed among you may spot that the car is based on an SLK, although it appears to be a lovechild of the baby Benz and a CLS.
There are also elements of the S-Class saloon in the wheel arch design.
The Kleemann GTK features carbon fibre panels and has a normally aspirated SLK 55 AMG engine fitted with a complete Kleemann Kompressor system.
The GTK boasts 540bhp of power, transferred to the road through a 7-speed automatic gearbox, a KLEEMANN limited slip differential and ultra low profile Toyo T1-R tires on 20” KLEEMANN alloy rims.
The GTK should be able to see off most modern supercars, with 0-62mph taking 3.7 seconds and top speed is limited to 185mph.
The brakes are 380 mm vented discs with 8 piston fixed aluminium callipers at the front and 345 mm vented discs with 4 piston fixed aluminium callipers at the rear .
Kleemann is not planning mass production of the GTK at present, but a limited run is on the cards.
