For those eagerly awaiting the launch of the MG TF, a car that has already been eagerly awaited and launched a few years ago, the time has almost come.
According to Nanjing Automobile Corporation, MG’s new owners, there is high demand from retailers wanting to join its new network.
It seems businesses across the UK can't wait to sell the new MG TF LE 500, with over 100 dealers throughout the UK expressing interest to become a franchise dealer.
Of the 100 NAC said 40 have signed letters of intent.
'We are hugely encouraged by the response,' said Stephen Cox, Franchising Manager at NAC MG (UK) Ltd.
'There is still a huge interest in the MG brand, and the fact that dealers believe our products will sit well alongside other premium brands speaks volumes.'
NAC expect the network to be 50-strong for the commercial launch of the TF LE 500 in the New Year.
If the TF LE 500 looks a little familiar that’s because it is an old TF with ‘revised body styling’ that is subtle to say the least.
There is leather seats, a body coloured hardtop as standard and ‘shadow chrome’ or black wheels.
'We have experienced a constant request for applications to join our network,' added Mr Cox.
'There is clear confidence in MG’s future, and dealers seem to want to be a part of a new success story and maintain an association with one of the UK’s most historic car brands.'
