Survey puts Brits at top of wish list
Not only did the DB9 take top spot but the Vanquish sneaked in at number three in the survey, giving Aston two podium places.
Sandwiched inbetween the two Brits is the Bugatti Veyron, and in fourth place was new kid on the block, the Audi R8, according to the survey by DVLA registrations.
Established exotica from Ferrari, Porsche and Lamborghini made up the rest of the top ten.
Damian Lawson, marketing manager for DVLA Personalised Registrations, said: ‘It started as a bit of fun.
‘We were promoting our product on some very classy cars to highlight that while cars like this may be a dream for most of us a personalised number can actually be surprisingly affordable.
‘Everyone we talked to seemed to have an opinion on what their dream car would be so we decided to find out which models and marques people would really like to drive.’
