Is it me or are Porsche names getting weirder and weirder?
This is the Porsche Carma and it’s a design study by a group of students who were asked to create an extreme sports car that was suitable for everyday use.
The designers were said to have focused on the car’s aerodynamics and made a detailed study of the body and underbody surfaces to create the necessary downforce.
Quite how useable or not it would be may never be known but we think it’s a nice looking design.
The designers were Germain Baillot, Pierre Fichet Delavault, Julie Dicks, Simon Menu, who are believed to be attending their fourth year at the French Design School ISD.
