Slow down Jeeves, I'm spilling my Cristal
If you are an oil baron or record company executive with questionable taste you will know that time is money.
So you will be pleased to know that thanks to Brabus you will be able to save quite a lot of time, and therefore cash, by screaming to meetings at 205 mph in a modified Maybach.
Tuning outfit Brabus has just broken the record for, wait for it, ‘The World’s Fastest and Most Exclusive Ultra-Luxury Sedan’.
The Maybach 57 luxury barge was apparently fitted with the BRABUS SV12 S Biturbo engine and sent to test track Nardo with the sole purpose of going very, very fast.
The engine develops 730 bhp and pushed the car to 330.6 km/h (205.2 mph).
The SV12 S Biturbo evolution of the 6.3-liter displacement engine was originally developed for the Brabus Rocket, the four-door car based on the Mercedes CLS series.
The engine has two larger turbos, more efficient intercoolers, and a stainless-steel high-performance exhaust system with metal catalysts.
The engineers then threw out the 155 mph engine limiter and fitted forged 21-inch BRABUS Monoblock VI light-alloy wheels specifically for the Maybach, and lowered the ride height.
