To the gymkhana, quickly!
Anyone who likes to travel extremely quickly, but can’t leave home without the wife, three kids and two Labradors will be pleased to know Brabus has got its hands on the new C-Class estate.
The tuner used this year’s Essen Motor Show to unveil its range of faster Merc wagons, the most interesting of which has to be 4.0 litre V6.
There is an engine re-map, high-performance exhaust system, custom camshafts, and a larger bore.
The engine produces 332 bhp, taking the wagon from 0-62 mph in 5.9 seconds and on to 171 mph.
CDI models also get Brabus ‘PowerXtra’ kits, adding 48 bhp to the top-of-the-line turbodiesel model C 320 CDI. 0-62 mph takes 6.9 seconds and top speed is 155 mph.
Brabus has worked on the C-Class suspension, fitted 19” alloys and given the car better brakes. Brabus says the new front spoiler reduces lift and makes the car more stable.
