Ford said to be considering employees in sale
The final bids for Jaguar and Land Rover are in, it has been reported.
India's Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra and private equity firm One Equity Partners have submitted their bids to Ford and could be in the range of $1.5-$2 billion, the Economic Times said today.
The bids could possibly be revised once negotiations are underway, the report said.
Each bid is also said to include a set of caveats such as balance sheet health, management freedom and restructuring flexibility, the paper reported, and Ford will combine bid value with an ‘obligation to local communities and employees’, it said.
Another report said Ford is expected to consider these bids later next week.
