Sorry mate, I don't go South of the river
There are a few reports this morning telling us that Michael Schumacher recently took the wheel of a taxi so that he could get to the airport in time for his flight.
Cab driver Tuncer Yilmaz had picked up Schumacher and was probably telling him who he had in the back of his cab the other day, when Michael decided enough was enough and asked him if he could drive or else he would miss the flight.
He assured Mr Yilmaz that he had insurance and took the wheel where, according to Mr Yilmaz, he took corners at full throttle and overtook everything he came across making the flight with seconds to spare.
The cabbie also said 'it was strange to be a passenger, but at the end of the journey he tipped me €100 on top of the €60 fare'.
So what was it that Shuey drove so expertly? It was the Opel equivalent of the Vauxhall Vivaro minibus, complete with his wife and two kids hanging on in the back.
Can we expect a Vivaro Schumacher edition any day now?
