No, I'm not a Diablo kit car
If you’re more interested in straight line speed than say, looks or pedigree, then you may be interested to know that your dream car is now on sale.
The SSC Ultimate Aero is now officially the world’s fastest car and you will probably want to go as quick as possible because the dated styling is an acquired taste.
It does have a 1183bhp twin turbo V8 pushing the car to 256.18mph, and you can get one at Motorcars of Las Vegas, said to be the sole distributor of the SSC.
The cars have carbon fibre bodies, navigation systems, rear-view cameras and a front lift system to clear speed bumps.
The one on offer has just 15 miles and a slightly more subtle two-tone paint than others we’ve seen.
The dealer is ‘boutique style’ apparently and that’s just the way we like it when we are buying our odd-looking, rare American supercars.
No word on price but expect to pay around £300,000.
