The current C8 Laviolette
Spyker has announced plans for a new model, we have been waiting for news like this for some time, but rather than being a completely new model, the new car will be based on the current C8.
The C8 is certainly a car that you either love or hate, but with its fantastic engine and quirky styling it's a car that cannot be ignored by PHers, but does the new model offer anything new? Well, it seems that potential owners have complained over the lack of space in the current car- so it has been redesigned to answer the comments.
The new C8 features a stretched wheelbase, meaning more interior and cabin space and Spyker claim that it also improves the overall look of the car too- we aren't convinced that it does, but judge for yourself.
The C8 Laviolette LWB, to use its full name, will feature a new version of the familiar glass roofline, but a spyder version will have an electrically operated convertible roof in place of the rather fiddly roof offered on the current model.
