There are lots of different ways to give to charity but one novel idea that was sent to us today seemed so simple we had to pass it on.
The Sporting Bears Motor Club is a multi-marque club, welcoming both classic and modern sports cars, which also raises money for UK children’s charities.
The club has just launched a web search page which raises money when it scans the internet.
It works in the same way as any other search tool, costing nothing to use, and raises up to 6p a hit.
All the money The Bears raises goes straight to charity and it is worth having a look as you will raise cash just to try it out.
Not all sites pay but from those that do the Bears reckon £30 a year per person on average can be raised.
The Bears has raised £700,000 since being formed in 1989 and the club's running costs are paid for by the membership's annual subscription, all members and officials of the Bears are unpaid volunteers.
Try the search engine here and find out where the money goes here.
