A Newcastle company is claiming to be the first in the UK to offer both restored Honda powered Lotus Elises and a Honda K20 conversion kit for the DIY mechanic.
Performance car entrepreneurs Christopher Wann and James Winstanley have set up Stark automotive to offer bespoke track-orientated Lotus Elises designed to the individual specification of the owner.
Stark has also developed a kit for the car enthusiast who is prepared to get their hands dirty and offers a seven day a week full UK support service for the build.
For those who don’t want to do the build themselves, Stark can source an Elise and fit their kit, or build up the specification on your car.
With the Stark kit fitted the Elise can crack 60mph in 3.9 seconds, 0-100mph in 9.5 seconds and has a top speed of 160mph.
