Several renderings of supposed new car designs, or just plain art projects, hit the PH inbox regularly but this one particular caught our eye.
The designer – Emre Husmen from Turin IED – claims he is in talks with an Italian coachbuilder who are thinking of putting the car into production. If that does go ahead then Husmen believes the car will have a twin-supercharged V8 running on biofuel and weigh in 200kg lighter than the Ferrari 599, that shares similar dimensions.
The car’s design inspirations are from an orgy of Italian cars including the Ferrari 250 GTO, 250 TR, P4, 599 GTB and Alfa’s 8C Competizione, but it does seem to have a bit of TVR in there too.
It may all just be pie in the sky, but it doesn’t look half bad in our opinion.
