Aston Martin has confirmed that the V12 Vantage RS will be built, it has been reported.
According to Dutch car mag Autovisie CEO Dr Ulrich Bez has revealed that the RS will see a limited production run, although it is not clear how limted that run will be.
The RS will get a 600bhp version of Aston’s 6.0 litre V12 powerplant and the car’s body will be mostly made from carbon fibre.
The V12 Vantage RS is expected to go on sale in 2009.
Also according to Autovisie, Dr Bez has confirmed that the company will soon launch a convertible version of the new DBS coupe and this will be available mid-2009.
