GM has revealed official power figures for the new Chevrolet ZR1 and surprise, surprise, it’s no slouch.
Bearing in mind that this car is likely to cost around £50,000 in the States (that’s seen as expensive there) what you get for your money is a car capable of hitting 205mph.
The company had promised at least 100 horspower per litre from the 6.2 litre engine, meaning 620hp, but the actual figure is now 638hp.
The company has now tested the car to 205mph on a test track in Germany as the video below shows.
Interestingly for a US car, GM is also making big claims about how economical the ZR1 will be.
In fact they say the car will be the most economical 600+ horsepower car in the world.
So economy and 200+ mph performance for £50,000? Yes please…
