If you parked your car in an awkward place in Britain, you might expect a ticket in seconds.
But in Germany police waited an hour and a half before towing away this Nissan GT-R.
And instead of dropping the car, like they do here, they apologised to the driver and dropped it off down the road in a better spot.
PHer and Ecutek boss David Power said he had parked the white GT-R with two wheels on the white line at the side of the road while at the Nurburgring 24 Hours.
When he came back after the race, there was a police road block as they carefully lifted the car.
They immediately came over, apologised and said they had waited an hour and a half for him to return before they’d picked it up.
Power told us: ‘The lorry driver then spent 20 minutes apologising to me and charged me 80 Euros to take it down the road and drop it off.
‘They even gave my girlfriend a lift in the police car to where they dropped the car off.
‘There is a lesson for us all in there.’
