The guys over at km77.com just don’t stop with the leaked images – yesterday it was Renault’s new Megane and today it’s the next Mazda MX-5. The first thing to mention is it’s a happy-looking thing, with a slightly fish-like appearance.
Mazda looks like it has tried to make the little roadster look a bit more sporty, giving it a deeper front bumper and side skirts. There is also a hint of RX-8 about the front and the wheel arches are accentuated by the new additions.
It’s not ground-breaking stuff but it does freshen up the MX-5, a car that still offers cheap rear-drive thrills. No word yet on changes to the rear or the interior but expect some mild tweaks.
